This is a free online eco-friendly lifestyle magazine which appeals to readers who like to read about ideas and solutions that can add to their enjoyment of life, without taking from the planet

Every two months we will be looking for a fresh selection of articles to inform, inspire and entertain our readers from all over the world.

Articles of any length is accepted, though anything over 1000 words may needed to be edited for conciseness or if long enough we may consider splitting the article over 2 editions.

We will also consider submissions from anyone who wishes to produce a regular feature.

Because it is FREE we do not pay for articles but if you are a related business we will publish your name, business name, location, contact information and your web address with a link to your website with the article.

We are not looking for a page long advertising blurb, but a business does have the opportunity to outline the purpose and benefits of your product while discussing your subject. For instance a Health Spa may write an article about the need for detoxification, or the benefits of massage, or simply an article on what someone should look for when choosing a health spa.

Though we will publish most things that are sent to us, we do reserve the right to reject submissions we feel is inappropriate for this periodical or could be considered libellous. We also reserve the right to edit any articles for quality and conciseness purposes.

The person submitting the article and any diagrams, pictures or photographs, must be the copyright owner.

How to:

• Click on Submit an Article in the right hand column and complete the form.
• An e-mail will be sent to you within 48 hours acknowledging your interest in submitting an article for publication.
• Reply to this e-mail with the article attached as a word document and separately any good quality digital pictures you wish to include in GIF, JPG or JPEG image formats.
• Once submitted, you will receive an e-mail within 5 working days, acknowledging receipt of your article and if it has been accepted for publication.

Include with the article?

• When emailing your article, in the email include your name, physical address, e-mail and a contact phone number. This is for our own records.
• At the bottom of the attached article include authors information you would like published with the article, for most individuals this may include the authors name, pen name or initials, city, state and country.
• If you are a business, in addition to the author’s information you may also include a very short description of your business, any additional location and contact information including website URL.
• At the bottom of the article include any references especially if you are quoting from other publications.
• In submitting an article for publication you affirm that you are the copyright owner of the article and any images supplied and that you give Duneen Enterprises permission to publish the article and images in EarthlyAlternatives.com.

Article Submission Policy:

Copyright remains with the author of any article submitted and can not be copied or reproduced without their consent. For this reason it may not be possible to supply back copies of previously published articles.

All articles submitted for publication are subject to approval.

We reserve the right to reject any articles that we consider as inappropriate for this periodical, or that we discover has a link to a website which is not appropriate to this periodical, including but not limited to pornography, exploitation, abuse, libel or illegal in any way. Should this become the case after publication of an article, that link will be removed immediately.

Anyone who submits an article for publication does so with the understanding there would be no payment for that article. The article may be edited for quality and conciseness and will be published at a date to be determined by the owners and publishers of this site.

Due date for articles is the 1st of the month, preceding the next edition publication date, ie for the edition coming out on 1 February 20xx, all article submissions should be submitted by 1 January 20xx.  We may accept and publish articles for the next edition, submitted after this date, if we deem the subject is topical or significant.
