Magic at Work

A friend of mine is looking for a new job after the company she worked for did a bit of downsizing, so I put together something to help her find a new job as well as a few aromatherapy blend that may be of benefit once that job has been landed.

I am sure with the financial crisis around the world continuing and with students looking towards the next stage of their lives after school, there are a few others out there that may find these useful.

To Find a New Job Spell

Best time: Waxing moon (between new moon and full moon) Wednesday is best day, 2nd best day is Tuesday. Having said that I would do it whenever the mood and the opportunity presents itself.

You will need:

  • Candle 15 – 20 cm long (6 – 8 inches) Yellow or Purple if Wednesday or Red if Tuesday, White is a good standby for anything or any day if the other colours are not available. (If spell casting was easy everyone would be doing it)
  • Matches or lighter (without which the candle is pretty useless)
  • One small pebble with a flat surface, suitable to carry in your pocket.
  • Red paint, acrylic is best as it will dry fast especially model paint as it should be a little harder wearing.
  • Fine paint brush, so you can paint a symbol on your pebble (otherwise you can use your finger but I wouldn’t recommend it)

Caste a circle by clearing a space in an area you are not going to be disturbed. Brush out negative energy with a broom while visualising it as grey dust being swept away. You don’t actually have to touch the ground for this. Make sure the things you are going to work with and a cushion to sit on if you need one is in the middle of your cleared space, you don’t want to have to leave the circle once you caste it.

Walk around in a clockwise direction while pointing down to the ground and mentally draw a circle big enough for you to sit and caste your spell in. Use your right hand for this but if you have one you can use a wand. If you have trouble visualising the circle use string, stones or salt to draw the circle for yourself. Of course once you use salt, if doing it inside, you will have to sweep it up later.

 Now sit in the middle of the circle and visualise the power of The All encircling you, forming a dome of protection and say;

‘I encircle myself with the light and power of The All, imbued with Devine love and protection, only positive thoughts, energy, action and good fortune effect me, So Mote it Be.’

Now light the candle and say;

‘Spirit of sure victory, look well and kindly upon me.’

Hold the pebble firmly between your palms and visualise yourself looking happy, setting off to work and having money in your purse.

When you are ready and have the vision firmly in your mind, take a deep breath and breathe onto the stone, envisaging all that you have just wished for yourself going in the stone and say,

‘By my breath I charge thee.’

Paint onto the pebbles flat surface the rune tyr, which looks like an upward pointing arrow. Put it next to the candle to dry. Let the candle either burn itself out or snuff it out with a proper candle snuffer or with your fingers. Wet your fingers first by licking them or you will burn yourself. DO NOT BLOW IT OUT.

Now get up and walk around your circle anti-clockwise pointing with your left hand, visualise the protective dome collapsing and drawing up all that loving and protecting energy of The All into yourself through your left hand.

The next day pop the pebble into your pocket or purse and carry it with you wherever you go. When your objective is achieved, cast the pebble into the nearest natural water source or bury it in the ground. It has served its purpose and should be returned to the earth.

Now for some Aromatherapy Potions you can use at work.

NB: Always use 100% pure essential oils, you can either put one drop of each oil on a tissue or cotton wall ball which you can sniff, making sure you put them on top of each other so they mix, or put one drop of each oil in 5mil of carrier oil which you can rub on your wrist, neck or just sniff as required.
